Good news which might have passed us by in 2022
At the end of 2022, the general feeling when reading the press was one of doom and gloom. It cannot be denied that the media tend to concentrate on bad news because disasters, wars and scandals appear to get the most clicks and reader attention. However, some of us were wondering if there might not also have been some good news around, if only to balance out the bad. And it turns out that there has indeed been plenty of good, uplifting news this year, even if it has slipped under the radar of the mainstream news. So here it is, an eclectic selection of some of the welcome news from 2022.
